Quad Marker Maternal Serum Screening with Dimeric Inhibin-A

Sunrise Medical Laboratories is pleased to announce the availability of Quad Marker Maternal Serum Screening.

  • The Quad Marker detection rate represents an increase of 7-12% over triple marker testing and 10-22% over double marker protocols.1-4
  • Quad Marker screening utilizes AFP, hCG, uE3 and dimeric inhibin-A (DIA) to assess risk for open neural tube defects, Down syndrome, and trisomy 18.
  • The Quad Marker detection rate for Down syndrome is about 78-80% overall, and 85-90% for women 35 and older.

Predicted Down Syndrome Screening Performance
for a Second Trimester Risk Cutoff of 1 in 290 (risk of 35 year old woman)1

RESULT RECALCULATION – When you need it!

If the gestational age changes by 10 days or more, our staff is available to immediately recalculate screening results and fax a Revised Report.  This helps to minimize patient anxiety whenever possible, and to avoid unnecessary, invasive and costly follow-up procedures.
